Reishi grows on hardwoods such as Maples, Oaks and Elms and is very rare to find in the wild. Most Reishi sold today is cultivated commercially. Our Reishi Mushrooms are grown organically on a farm in the USA and is put through a steam activation process to increase bioavailability and then ground into a fine powder.
Referred to, for many centuries, as the “Mushroom of Immortality”, Reishi’s medicinal attributes have been highly revered as potent and effective. Reishi is known in Traditional Chinese Medicine to promote longevity and to help ground the emotions. It has also been used traditionally to support liver function, heart health, blood sugar and reduce risk of asthma, allergies and possible infection.
