French Green Clay is sometimes also called Sea Clay and is rich in minerals including iron, magnesium, selenium, silicon, phosphorus, calcium, manganese and copper. French Green Clay is quarry mined from naturally occurring deposits in France and is untreated. It is a beautiful light green colour with a soft texture.

French Green clay owes its coloration to two very important factors: iron oxide and decomposed plant matter. The natural green colours found in this luxe clay are from the very cycles of life that the earth uses to regenerate herself.

Properties:

French Green Clay is a strong drawing agent and is excellent at absorbing oil and removing impurities from the skin. Each element present in the clay works through the layers of the skin in its own way, dispensing their biological constituents as efficiently as possible and literally “drinking” oils, toxins and impurities from your skin.

Its toning action stimulates circulation in the skin bringing nutrients and removing cellular waste.

How to use:

Mix a small amount of clay with a little water and blend into a thick paste. Apply to clean skin. In general, clay masks work best when kept moist, so aim to wash off your clay mask before it reaches a completely dry, cracked stage. Or mist your clay mask with water or a hydrosol to keep it moist for longer wear on your skin.

Use it daily on trouble spots, or weekly as part of a complete facial treatment.
