Are your products organic?

While we endeavour to provide organic products where possible, we take strict measures to ensure the quality, grade, purity, and potency of our products.  We require certificates from our suppliers and check that products are free from contaminants and pesticides.

We offer over 280 wildcrafted herbs in addition to our organic ones.

What is the quality of your essential oils?

Our essential oils are high quality and a small selection is organic.

All of our essential oils and carrier oils have been tested for impurities and can be used for either therapeutic applications or cosmetic needs.

Can Gaia’s oils be used internally?  

Despite our oils being pure and natural, we do not recommend using them internally. Essential oils are powerful, highly concentrated plant extracts and can cause severe injury when ingested.

Can Gaia make something specially formulated for me?

Absolutely! Our in-house dispensary can help with custom herb formulas, tea blends, aromatherapy blends, sprays, and creams. You can bring in a formula from your practitioner, a blend that you found in a book or on-line or ask one of our staff to help you put something together.

Can I use essential oils if I’m pregnant?

Yes, you can but there are some oils that should be avoided or used in low dilutions depending on where you are in your pregnancy.

Can I take herbs if I’m pregnant?

There are herbs that are considered food and are highly nutritious that may support the body during pregnancy and postpartum.  Prior to consuming any herbs, it is best to talk to a health care practitioner when taking any herbs during pregnancy or breastfeeding.

Can I bring my own jar, bottles, or packing to fill products such as herbs or oils, shampoos?

Normally yes. We support efforts to reuse and recycle. At the moment we are not refilling outside bottles, containers, or bags because of the precautions Gaia Garden is taking during COVID-19.

Once the normal operations resume, you may bring your own bags or jars for herbs, teas, and refillable cleaning/shampoo and soap products.

Can someone help me with questions if I can’t come into the store?

Yes, absolutely. You can email your questions to us at info@gaiagarden.com and the appropriate expert will respond to your queries. You can also call us, ideally between 11 am – 12 pm or between 3 pm – 4 pm, so we can kindly accommodate our store customers.
