|Cautions and Warnings||Consult a health care practitioner if symptoms persist or worsen. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are taking lithium, cardiac medications such as cardiac glycosides or antiarrhythmic medications, blood thinners, birth control medications, thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, licorice root or other medications or health products which may aggravate electrolyte imbalance. Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you are undergoing hormone replacement therapy (HRT). Consult a health care practitioner prior to use if you have a kidney disorder, faecal impaction, high blood pressure, glaucoma, detrusor instability, or symptoms such as abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting or fever. Discontinue use if you experience watery diarrhea, uterine contractions, insomnia, nervousness, restlessness, gastric irritation, nausea, vomiting, tachycardia, quickened respiration, tremors, delirium, convulsions, headache, anxiety, agitation, ringing in the ears, hypokalemia, respiration alkalosis, chest pain, premature heartbeat, arrhythmia, or develop symptoms of liver trouble. Consumption with other caffeine-containing products, or natural health products or other drugs which increase blood pressure is not recommended. Reduce dose or discontinue use if you experience abdominal pain, cramps, spasms and/or diarrhea.|
|Contra-indications||Do not use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Do not use if you are taking ephedrine. Do not use if you are hypersensitive to iodine or if you have a thyroid/liver/gall bladder disorder, bowel obstruction, abnormal constrictions of the gastrointestinal tract, potential or existing intestinal blockage, atonic bowel, appendicitis, inflammatory colon disease such as Crohn's disease or ulcerative colitis, abdominal pain of unknown origin, undiagnosed rectal bleeding, severe dehydration with depleted water or electrolytes or diarrhoea, or if you have a history of systemic lupus erythematosus or kidney stones.|
